What is physiotherapy?

Chartered Physiotherapists are recognised therapists working in private and NHS clinics. We treat people affected by injury, illness or disability in many ways, particularly through joint and soft tissue mobilisations, movement, exercise, education and advice. We work to maintain health for people of all ages, helping patents’ to also manage pain and prevent disease.

Physiotherapists aim for treatment to resolve and prevent further injury by integrating progressive rehabilitation exercises into each treatment on an individual basis.

The profession helps to encourage development and facilitate recovery, enabling people to stay in work and continue to play sport at all levels.
